This series was inspired by Mario Luzi’s poem La notte lava la mente (The night washes the mind). Memories perpetually resurface; streams of consciousness advance unbridled and almost unwieldy. Here, the images are hallucinatory flashes from a life that seems simultaneously very far removed, yet tangible and vivid. These raw scenes are inhabited by shadows: apparitions of silent figures.
